Restaurante FREU, which has been listed as one of the best restaurants in Spain by the most prestigious guides in the country, is located within Gran Hotel Monterrey in Lloret de Mar (Costa Brava). It is a highly personal space characterised by excellent design, simplicity and quality - three attributes that are also very evident in Freus cuisine. The materials that particularly stand out are its wood, rusted iron and glass, and especially eye-catching are the charming vine-covered terrace and the hand-made restaurant menu. The menu features classic fare and more sophisticated dishes. The star of the show however is Freus Tasting Menu, prepared with seasonal produce and accompanied by paired wines.
