Grilled Sardines ( plenty per serving ) and pimientos de padron – and a beer – great combo to start a visit to the rastro madrid,
Only open for a few hours daily, the owner is fun and inviting and a great griller. A cold beer along with the sardines, octopus and peppers are spot on delicious.
We stopped by for lunch here and ordered their grilled sardines, fried calamari and fried pimentos drizzled with salt. It was delicious
If you love sardines then it is the place to be. Fresh cooked to order and sprinkled with salt, lovely. Sticky fingers but well worth it. Full of locals all adds to the experience
