We often find that the cafes in museums are the best places to have lunch or a tea time break. This facility is lovely, but the service is slow due to understaffing.
It has super nice location: just cross the road from Museum of Prado. It was nice to sit at the bar and selected favorite tapas.
Surprisingly, the cafeteria had a nice selection at very reasonable prices. This was a great way to complete the tour and a nice extension of the overall experience.
This is a very expensive tourist stop with just passable food. I would recommend going somewhere else before or after visiting the museum.
They offer a number of hot entrees. I had a make your own salad with a variety of toppings of my choice including chicken, feta and mozzarella. Tasty.
