We had such a fabulous meal at this restaurant on our first night in Madrid that we came back on our second night! Wonderful food with friendly staff – highly recommended.
We had just arrived in Madrid and found this gem of a bar/cafe down the street from where we were living. The atmosphere was boisterous and joyful, the food delicious and the service superb. We look forward to coming back.
We loved the atmosphere and the food. Especially salmojero de remolacha was very good. The stuff is very friendly. My wife said the barman was hot. Not sure what she meant.
Could hardly believe that this small and humble establishment had such a high rating on Tripadvisor, but after having had the most amazing food, I understood why. It was incredible tapas and the price was extremely fair. Ended up giving a 30% tip.
Queso payoyo forever. And salmorejo. And that lovely sweet wine they’ve got! They told us that arbonaida is the name of the Andalusian’s flag. This food is the truth.
Great and warm crew. All dishes are based on traditional recipes from Andalusia. Rare to find those dishes anywhere else in Madrid. Very tiny place to accommodate more than 8_10 people in the dinning room
