La Esquina del Real Restaurant, in a small corner of the Opera area, in front of the majestic Teatro Real, is this charming restaurant reminiscent of Paris, where the reserve is required given the quality of its dishes and its size. Opened in 1991, it cultivates the classic French gastronomy, with the homemade Foie as the star of its menu and a multitude of accompanying sauces, which can be preceded by a good hot cheese salad and washed down with one of the great wines of its winery, finish with any of their delicious artisan desserts. But it is not only the sense of taste that takes care of the Esquina del Real, but also that of the view with a warm rustic decoration based on old granite and brick masonry and a pleasant and intimate lighting.
