El Restaurante "Caf Varela" est ubicado en lo que fuera el antiguo y romntico Caf Varela. Este emblemtico lugar del Madrid de finales del XIX fue cita obligada para muchos literatos ilustres como Emilio Carrere, Miguel de Unamuno o los hermanos Machado y tantos otros que concibieron sus ideas en agradables tertulias al calor de una taza de caf. Took a table outside which is a great place to people watch while enjoying lunch. Efficient service and decent food served with a smile. Not expensive.
Excellent food in a stylish restaurant with food served on tables with table cloths. Wide variety of food including 3 or 4 different fish dishes. Service excellent, good wine list.
