Head downstairs to the bar area and enjoy. The staff there – have been there for the many years I have been coming – are efficient and know what they are doing. The food is typical of Galicia – seafood focused.
The rudeness of the wait staff took away from decent food. It’s shocking to me how little English the very mature waiters speak when it comes to knowing and describing ingredients.Though there was a very pleasant young woman who tried.
We tried to find a good paella in Madrid, which turned out to be difficult. We had paella de marisco at this place, but it was very far from what we expected.
An excellent finale to our trip to Spain. A traditional setting, excellent cuisine, attentive staff and an experience we treasure. So much so we had our last two dinners here. A must try!
Hugely overpriced, albeit well- cooked, fish served in unappetisingly huge chunks by suited, elderly staff.
