We always stop at Casa Labra when we are in Madrid. We stop for a glass of wine and some bacalao croquettes. They are always to die for. So we will continue to come back.
Excellent as alwaysCod croquetas and frituras, tapasBeers and winesThey also have a formal restaurat on same local that opens at 8:00pm
Dropped in to Casa Labra to try the traditional codfish croquettes. There are lots of varieties of croquettes in Spain and the codfish croquettes here did not disappoint. Using salted cod as the base they are somewhat salty, but very tasty.
A staple of Madrid, a stop here for a beer and cod fish fritters is a must! SO delicious!!! If it looks way too busy outside, be sure to stop in and see about an interior table.
