This place is in an original building of the 15th century and of Mudejar style. It has been deeply transformed by the passage of time and has come to our days with a popular-nineteenth-century conformation. The porches you are constructed by arches of brick with alfiz, supported on columns and capitals re-taken advantage of origin visigodo. Until beginning of the 19th century there was located in him the Balcony of the Cathedral Chapter: a spectacular balcony for use of the Bishop, during acts and holidays. From the 50s, now 65 years ago, it has been used since there crunches, tavern and bar of lids, under different directions of restoration. It is said that it was the cradle of the Fleming in Badajoz, because in his epoch it was a place very frequented by our more universal Flemish artist: Porrina of Badajoz.Now they will be able to taste in him, the best products of our Extremaduran land (the wines, the patatera, the cake of cheese, the ham of acorn, the Iberian loin, Iberian meats of pork and of rered wine) and the Portuguese cods.
