The ambience is really lofty yet charming because it’s a restored old building. The food is prepared with lovable simplicity -and it tastes wholeheartedly. The lentil soup is a must (for 3 people) and the croca, a veal sirloin served entrecôte style.
We stopped here for lunch having visited the excellent Museum of Pontevedra. While the environment and the service was very good. The experience was ruined by over elaborated and undercooked tortillas and to add to the disappointment my beer came in lipstick stained glass!
Interior is lovely but the food was disappointing for the price, especially when there are so many other places in Pontevedra (in particular the main dish’s which are advertised (and priced!) for two people).
we were fortunate to have a personal shopping experience at the seafood market around the corner with Chef Xosè.What was purchased in a matter of hours became our lunch. He was such a genuine and humble man.
We had Ceviche, beef tartar, omelette, and muse with raspberries . All food is great. I will come back. Place looks really nice, modern and organised.
