In January 1976, three Coruna brothers, children of hoteliers, after several years of experience as waiters in La Coruna and outside Spain, decided to join and open their own business. As a result of the young and entrepreneurial spirit experience, Gasthof (inn, food house in German) was born, a type of business that until that moment did not exist in the city, with a new formula: Sale of Combined Dishes and Snack Bar, an idea which at that time revolutionized the catering sector in La Coruna. They chose one of the most colorful corners of the city, on Rubine Street in front of Riazor Beach. On just 45m2 of total area, and with great enthusiasm they focused on grilling and serving dogs, sandwiches, hamburgers and mixed dishes at one hundred an hour.
