The Montaneta has great front line sea views, a relaxing atmosphere and their prices are reasonable. A light meal with drinks cost €13.50.The friendly and helpful staff also gave me a warm welcome.I recommend.
On seafront. Competing with many other better places. This restaurant has an attitude it can ill afford as it is not that popular. Bad experience with waiting staff who were rude & offf hand despite an almost empty room. Avoid. Uninspiring menu.
There’s not much, if anything, wrong with this pleasant sea-side restaurant. Good quality tapas and seafood menu, large portions of everything, an excellent €7,50/bottle rosé housewine and friendly and quick service. A guaranteed stop everytime we’re in Calpe.
Looks like they don’t care of interior but take care of the food instead. We tried grilled fish with chips and veggies stew. Everything was decent plus good house rose wine.
