Located on the unspoilt beach of Kandakuliya in Kalpitiya, Welle Wadiya specialises in fresh seafood and local Sri Lankan cuisine. All our food is freshly prepared by our Head Chef using locally sourced ingredients. As well as his expertise in Sri Lankan cuisine, the Chef has a wealth of experience to cater for international palates. The charming restaurant specialises in fresh, locally sourced seafood, and the famous Kalpitiya crabs are a regular feature in our diverse menu. Meals can be taken inside the ocean fronted restaurant or Al Fresco style on the beach. Beach BBQs are also a regular feature in the evenings at Welle Wadiya.
