Just wondered by following the reviews here – it’s not open at 10:30 for non residents – the staff was kind enough to point out the shack opposite to have a coffee. It’s an attractive open space, but be aware of the above.
The Antic Restaurant is somewhat hidden and the atmosphere in the small place is great. We had tuna steak with salad and a Thai curry, all very tasty. You look right into the kitchen, so it’s possible to follow the making of the dishes.
Had an excellent veg curry here. Nice music and atmosphere in a quiet street close to the fort walls. Efficient service.
My wife and I enjoyed the food enormously. We ate prawns with chili and garlic. In fact I liked it so much that I ate the dish twice! The price is great too.
breakfast turned out to be a feast! a mix of sri lankan and continental dishes. Fruit platter was a delight too.
