  This place has really bad service and the workers are really mean and they judge you for everything you do . If you’re a couple please do not go here because they ban you from coming there if you simply hug each other 🙂 .

  Well what’s up guys??It’s been so long.Yeah ! I’m about to write again.So cafe bagatalle is a hidden place so quite and calm for dining.Hidden among a well reknown place in Colombo for wedding suits which known as Envoy mansion.This place stunned me with some real time cuisine.As I was there to get some clothes, me an my bro went in for some refreshment.We ordered A detox and a peanut butter shake with one BBQ chicken submarine.I said my bro that maybe it’s better to get one more submarine but he insisted no let’s have one and decide.Initially the best part was the food was prepared in real time, everything cut and cooked fresh.Something I hardly get to see.It’s almost gave me taught of Europe.Even the juices were made in front of our eyes.But those things you can normally witness anywhere.This is a first time I saw it done inside a Cafe.Besides the juices were extremely perfected.The Detox was with minimal sugar and equally blended with green fruits.Where else the peanut butter shake was a mixture of coconut milk and peanut butter, sought of a unique get over.Well ! The submarine was very tasty.The softness of the bun and that BBQ flavor of the chicken.Its not some submarine that you normally taste.As you know I like it healthier and different, so was the Sub.It’s a little over the budget but the quantity with quality made me feel satisfied.One of the longest submarine I’ve seen in my lovely town.So if things need a change and if you don’t like a packed place.Or if you need a time with your spouse.Head to Cafe Bagatalle, where you can write your own tale.

  We tried the Penne with roasted prawns, pesto and chilli oil, the saffron risotto with clams and sausage. And, the wasabi tuna with cheese and cucumber pickle. Overall the entire food was only averagely good. The saffron risotto tasted so bland and undelicious. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to try that ever here. The staff service is okay. It’s a dimlit location. I wish they improve in all aspects though.Ambience : 4/5Food : 2/5Service : 3/5Price : 2/5Overall : 3/5
