When looking at all the restaurants in Kollupitiya area, from the luxury one to the regular buth kade, it can be clearly stated that it does not matter how many of them are there, because when it comes to the lunch hour none of them seem to be enough since almost all the restaurants around get filled with the office people as well as the students of the nearby institutes. Due to this reason, most of the restaurant in this area has provided the take away option to the customers, so then can pick up their food early and eat it peacefully somewhere else.Same goes with this particular restaurant, Kaju Kade. This place is located at the land side of the busy Galle Road, and it is needless to say how busy and crowded it gets when it comes to the lunch hour considering all the offices and shops around. It is a really small outlet with limited seating space. Even I haven’t get a chance to dine in yet, but I have picked up my lunch several times from this place.Kaju Kade serves some good Lamprais and chicken fried rice, which are my personal favorites. I really love the way they cook chicken, because its saucy and you can really taste the spices in it. When comparing the portions and prices, I can clearly say that it goes as 1:1, since they really provide the value for the price that customer has to pay.
