Very reasonable prices compared to other restaurants in Bambalapitiya. Takes only around 300 lkr for your lunch or dinner. I can’t talk about the clean because it depends how you want. For me it’s kinda OKAY. Great for dine ins and take aways. But the parking might be an issue.
Visited this place after may be about 25 years. When I was a teenager, my father’s favourite restaurant for eating out would be Mayfair Hotel. There used to be family rooms built like cubicles. Such facilities no longer exist.As today (4th Oct) was my birthday, lunch was a lonely affair and I headed straight to Mayfair Hotel. I decided to try my father’s favourite – chicken buriyani. The price was reasonable and the food was OK, but the accompaniments were not. I came here expecting to find the same standards. I was sorely disappointed. Perhaps the place has undergone Management changes, as the arrangement and layout of the place had also changed.
Much better than all the other roadside shops, they serve some good chicken Dolphins and some tasty chicken biriyani for lunch.But the taste of kottu rotty isn’t consistent always.Cheap, and much cleaner than the other roadside shops.Place is brightly lit.
I would say better than pilawoos. Good food, good service and at a good price. Try their chicken dolphin kothu. Its abt 200bucks. Super taste, good quantity and really filling.
