There’s a selection of a wide variety of flavours in the cakes and cupcakes here at Delight. I’ve had the odd cupcake before and it was a bit dry. I also thought the price very steep for the somewhat small cupcake. However, now they have cake slices, and some unique flavours like Salted Caramel & Chocolate Fudge priced within Rs.300-400 is quite the same you would pay elsewhere for a decent slice of cake. I pick up individual cupcakes from here as gifts and the cute decorated ones are perfect for it! But the price tag and freshness is the hindering factor.
The cupcakes are dry and hard and definitely not worth for the price paid for it. The red velvet cupcake tastes like stale cheese. The rest of the goodies are obviously over priced like everything else, but nevertheless are not as horrible.
I had the privilege of trying the new range of cakes and sweets introduced at DELIGHT. I must say it is worth trying and convenient stop for any sweet tooth at all times. Full disclosure – I work at ODEL
