we have been for the dinner buffet. Buffet is starting at 7:00 pm .although once i asked a staff member he answered 7:30 and was not so friendly. There weren’t much varieties of food but food is delicious . If you compare the cost and the food varieties with other hotels in colombo this is much expensive with less varities. Mainly staff is not enough.it took so long to clear the table after end of a dish. The service is so poor. It is the main disadvantage . Dinner cost us 3100/=
Pranzo has a wonderful setting if you were to visit it during the evening. A walk on Water’s edge ending with a meal at Pranzo is great. The menu is not too extensive and is quite limited although the beverage section has quite a few choices. The prices are pretty reasonable too. We had the wild mushroom soup to begin with. It was quite dense but good nonetheless. We had the spaghetti carbonara for mains. It was a little bland. I wouldn’t recommend it. To end our meal we had the hot chocolate and blueberry cheesecake which were both delicious. Service isn’t that great because the staff always seem preoccupied when we ask for something. But it’s a beautiful restaurant.
