We came here for high tea on Saturday and it was Rs 1950 net per person. They offer a variety of savory, desserts and drink options. The kiwi and mango mojito is a must try from the drinks list. The staff was very friendly and they offer a great service.they do refill the buffet without keeping it empty which i liked the most.Would definitely visit this place again
The Gourmet Station is well known among foodies around the island as the place to discover new trends & culinary traditions. Explore the mouth watering flavours of divine cakes, sandwiches & pastries while you breathe in the aromas of gourmet coffees & teas. High tea in Colombo reaches new heights of excellence at the Gourmet Station at The Kingsbury Hotel where the excellent spread cost at LKR 1950 nett per person. The best thing about the high tea is , buffets basis and it had so many varieties which can make you lost what to serve. I specially like the fact about their savory items which included sandwich items and meats such as deep fried prawns , bbq chicken , minced lamb in potato boat , battered fish .They have a very special addition where they serve signature ice creams which included my favorite mango and chocolate flavors. And in the drink menu I have tried iced coffee , mango and kiwi refresher which make freshly their with crushed ice can well combine with savories and it gives the mojito vibes for me . This is really worth for money and the best collection I have seen so far among others . And I recommend to skip breakfast and lunch before you going to try this up .
Went here for high tea on a Saturday because this was recommended as the best in Colombo. But honestly IMO it doesn’t worth the hefty asking price of Rs. 2500/- per head.•The Good: It’s a buffet so you can eat as much as you want. Not just a fixed assortment on a platter. There’s a decent spread of savories, desserts and drinks. Plus an action station.Service was good. We got a table by the pool which was nice.•The Bad: Food tastes average at best. Cakes were really mediocre and dry and variety lacked any suprises. Same goes to the savories.Out of drinks only thing I liked was the Iced coffee which is the best I had. It’s really crowded and loud. (Not ideal for dates.) You have to reserve beforehand or be very early.May be all good things change/deteriorate with time( Despite their steadily climbing prices.)
Wonderful place and staff service. Also delicious food there. We have been there for high tea in a weekend and it was a great experience. Even less shotees, others were in good collection.
