  Visited this place at a last minute decision just to have a quick nibble on a Saturday evening. Unsurprisingly, everything turned out to be phenomenal. We happened to order a vegetable Lasagna and a Vege sandwich, plus a coffee Frappe and a white Mocha Frappe to go with them. The service, the food and the preparation time all never disappointed us.

  We visited the Lounge at Cinnamon Lakeside primarily with the aim of trying out their sushi – and it was well worth the visit (please note that this review is based on the Japanese menu alone). Had some of the thickest-cut tuna sashimi ever, but it was extremely good. We tried the salmon nigiri as well despite it being quite expensive, and it was well worth the price. Prices are similar to any other Japanese restaurant you’d get with conventional fare.

  Very poor service. High tea is useless. They are serving only 3 savories with a bunch of sweet items. Service is useless. Takes alot of time to serve the customers. Not at all happy with the platter.

  I’ve been a patron of Lakeside for years, especially for High Tea. This used to be my number one choice when meeting up with the girls, mainly due to the lavish spread they had including countless sweets and savouries, a cheese board and even sushi. Sadly, the buffet is only once a week now, and they’ve followed suit with the rest to serve ‘traditional’ three tiered high tea on all other days. It’s basically a sharing platter for two costing Rs. 1780/- nett, and has four savoury items and a few sweet ones as well as hot tea or coffee. This was indeed a far cry from what they used to be. The food was passable but they’ve got way too many sweet items, and the savouries aren’t very filling. The scones though were wonderfully soft and is served with jam & whipped cream, though personally I would prefer clotted cream. Service was very slow and there were inconsistencies between our platters. We weren’t served any beverages until after the food was almost done, despite requesting for it earlier. The food itself took nearly an hour to arrive although we had made a prior reservation. We ordered seven platters, since we had a large crowd, and two of them did not contain macarons. After pointing it out several times to several different waiters, it was finally brought on a separate dish. They’ve definitely lost the plot with this one since there are many other places that serve up a great high tea platter for a similar price range. It’s a shame since this was by far my most favourite place to spend the afternoon.

  First time I was here for a High tea around two year back. And back then the high tea was really great. Food was really good. Been here few times after that and I was really happy about their delicious food and all. It used to be a buffet back then. I gave a call to make a reservation few days back and then got to know it’s not a buffet type of high tea anymore.Seating arrangements are really good at Lakeside lounge. And very comfortable. Good music and staff is nice very fast service.
