I have been to this caffe twice now. My first experience was really nice. The Caffe itself is conveniently located, well furnished and clean. The prices are very reasonable. I met up with my friend and spend around two hours chatting as it looked like a descent place to go grab a bite, do some paperwork and relax. I even spoke to the owner to say it was a very nice place.But my second visit proved that almost wrong. I visited during lunch time. I ordered a juice and a bite plus started my work (going through some papers on m laptop) at around 13.00. I was soon hungry again and bought another sandwich at around 13.30 which I finished eating around 13.50. At 13.57 the owner approached me to say that I cannot spend time in this caffee like this and had ‘to be out of’ there by 2 pm. ‘We have a one hour limit’ is what he said! It was not mentioned anywhere regarding the ONE HOUR DEADLINE to eat the food that you have paid for! It just didn’t make sense why he had to ask me to find my way out of there in the next 3 minutes when I was the only customer in the shop at that time.So yeah the food is fresh and prices are good- but make sure you get out f there before the curfew rings 😛 !Plus they have NO WIFI.
City Cafeteria is located in a very convenient location, at the ground floor of the Marine City allowing people to grab a quick snack while you are on your way to work, or to catch the train. It is also a very good place to drop by for a evening bite.This place is really neat, the wooden chairs and tables on clean tiled floor gives you the opportunity to have a nice dining experience. I have tried some of their short eat items, and the most special thing I noticed about them is they have a wide range of items in their menu. The Rolls , Cutlets and Patties are good, since they are well filled and more importantly they are fresh. The Chocolate chip cookies at City Cafeteria is actually the best one I had. Prices are reasonable considering the varieties and the service is okay too.
