In my travelouges, This hotel and its restaurant holds a special place due to its location,ambience and service.If you stay in Berjaya Hotel you must have your dinner here.Aquiet evening by the beach with music and yummilacious seafood is wortha a try.Being from India i loved every bit of it.
I happened to stay at the Berjaya Hotel in Colombo. The hotel is by the beach and hosts the Rasa Malaysia restaurant. You could dine here all day long and the sea food here is good (like you would expect). It tastes even better with their local beer, the Lion beer. The veg food is just average but it all tastes better with the cool sea breeze blowing in and the vast expanse of the Indian ocean right till where you can manage to see. Most of the restaurants by the beach do shut down before mid-night though.
Nice Restaurant, located on the beach side. A little bit separated from the Berjaya Hotel Colombo. Good food, good service, all are okay. The price is consider cheap compare to other hotel, but you can bet the quality is competing.
Outdoor dining on the beach. Better atmosphere. Ordinary foods. Prices are okay. A little dull place. It was almost empty on that day. Maybe because the offf season.
Nice view of the sea from here and good food as well but the juices and mocktails would be better if they do something with it . Chinese is good but Srilanka fish needs to be spicy and it’s flavour which it loses its touch
