Today, we had short eats and tea. We had the food and tea at Devon dining area. The table and chairs weren’t cleaned. The chairs had food crumbs all over the cushion. The young woman (wearing white polo shirt and a green hair net) wasn’t there to give the tea order at the dining area. When she came we gave her the receipt and ordered the tea. She looked very unhappy and angry. No smile. Not a hi. Extremely negative! She took the tea order made the tea and left it on the tea bar counter and yelled “aah menna meka ganna”. The tone and the volume of her voice was appalling. Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful service. To be honest there was no service. We felt like we were at some tiny shop at Pettah station. Devon wasn’t busy when we were there around 10.15am this morning. So I’m not quite sure why this rude woman who was in charge of the dining area failed to clean after the previous customers. The food and tea were pretty average. I’ve had better short eats and tea at other places. Don’t want to go back and don’t recommend this place for the awful and shocking customer service and below average food and drinks!

Used to be my go to place for lunch but the prices spiked especially on the fried rice items and thus switched over to another restaurant. But overall a great place for shorteats like buns,patties,burgers etc. The place becomes packed right after school finishes and not recommended to go at that time due to massive queue and difficulty to find seating area in ground floor they do have ample space on the 1st floor. Also another plus point they have a parking space is as well:)
Morning meal grab point when was schooling . Food quality was so good and recommended for cake orders . Cakes are really delicious. They do serve in big pieces.
