Don’t ever go there. We went to Gihans Kohuwala and ordered a Chicken Biriyani & Nasi Goreng. It was dry & cold and the egg was like rubber. When we asked about it and they said they don’t prepare it then and there an if we want it can be microwaved. Just walked out. Its the most disgusting restaurant we have ever been.
Thus is a usual take away place for a easy set menu if I’m at my grandma’s place. I have never dined in at the place, and I have heard many bad stories about the place, but I haven’t still been disappointed with the place. Not worth for the price, but I’d recommend the kohuwala outlet over this as it looks cleaner with a proper seating area as well.
I got food poisoning and i was vomiting for two days. They put milk in the cheese kottu which I think was the main reason that I was seriously ill.
Starting from the cleanliness rating degrades. Their Kohuwala outlet is far better than this. Considering the parking, theres only two or three vehicles can be parked in front of the building. Walked in to take-away few meals, though cleanliness disappointed my decision. Food is quita oily, I hope its not only me who experienced it, as i experienced it from a take-away. Though they have little but costly menu, they need to put more attention about their cleanliness in first place, to get their name protected.
