We visited Ayu Restaurant at Movenpick Hotel Colombo. The restaurant was selected randomly at the hotel but has been one of the best experiences. The food has been amazing and your service was excellent. We ordered Grilled Chicken Avacardo Salad which was just perfect. When deciding the mains, we were bit confused but Ms. Dinithi and Mr. Travin went out their way to help us in selecting some amazing mains. Thanks all. We would definitely return here when we visit Colombo and highly recommend as a great restaurant.
I have been staying in Movënpick for more than a month now and it feel’s like its my 2nd home. The resturant AYU is famous for it’s breakfast lunch and dinner buffet. You will find a variety of dishes probably you may not get the chance to eat them all because everything they cook is so delicious that you may not stop yourself from taking it for the 2nd time. The staff is very composed and well mannered. I would like to take a moment to say special thanks to Miss Dinithi, Miss Chalani, Miss Pearl, Miss Koushalya. The environment is very ambient. For sure I may leave beautiful memories with all of you once I will be departing back to Pakistan.Good luck..
My husband and I ate here every morning during our stay at Movenpick hotel. There are so many food options including chef cook stations. The staff is truly the highlight of this place. They are all very pleasant, always smiling and ready to help in any way they can. We met Dinithi one morning and breakfast and her eagerness to make sure we had everything we wanted was incomparable. She is so pleasant and warm. Recommend this place to anyone who wants great food and excellent customer service!
Went for the lunch buffet.Menu is perfect, something for everyone. Service was awesome and was very accommodating.Lamb dish and pumpkin dish were the highlights. I would imagine there is bit more traffic during high seasons, but either way, Will be back definitely!
