Worst customer service ever. They have a ridiculous rule that customer necessarily needs to buy a portion cost over 200Rs if customer pay with Cards. And there are not any notice there about it. I don’t know how a single person can take quick snacks over 200Rs. They think themselves as Kings and the customer is a ‘Nodaking’. In terms of menu, there are many better places than P&S in Sri Lanka.
I don’t know if it is an issue with all P&S group, but I feel as they have lost the touch in pastry business. 10 to 15 years ago, I would have walked any distance just to taste their fish roll but now it’s almost the last choice in my preference. This particular outlet has an upper floor but a little bit of stack-y.
I have been to this outlet alot of times. Since its at a walking distance ,I frequent this place for desert cravings. I prefer the Chocolate Eclair, Vanilla Swiss Roll Slice, Chocolate Donut amongst pastry while Fish Puff, Chicken Puff and Tuna sandwich for quick bite. It’s neat, clean and maintained well. I have also tasted a couple of Bday cakes from this place (very soft base).
One of the consistent trademarks Iv found in perera and sons is that their quick service. Overall this outlet serves a range of items with quick service. There’s also an upstairs small sitting area of about4 tables. It’s a pretty clean outlet as opposed to some of the perera and sons in colombo. They also have an array of hot and cold beverages if you are planning on stopping by for a quick bite
