I am sorry to say that the packet of rice I ordered today (Banana Sprats) was full of salt and I just could not eat it. I wish the chef tastes what is being cooked as it is just a waste of money. The packet of rice went straight to the garbage bin. I must also say that I have bought rice packets from them before and they were very good. wonder what went wrong today.I have made this complaint the their office and I hope they will do something about this.

Worst place to have Sri Lankan food, they will charge you 450Rs for rice n curry or more for any of their other dishes but when it comes to serving the staff will make sure to serve you the smallest piece of fish, or chicken on your plate. You can spend half of what they charge for a full meal in Sri Lanka. Pappadam and fried chilly will be served bare hands, I don’t think they have ever seen gloves.. cashier too serves while taking money and operating the machine. Being a Sri Lankan I’m highly disappointed of their service and no one is there to take a complain. Situated in the heart of Colombo inside Crescat Boulevard should be in high standard, at the moment it’s pathetic and a total rip off.
This is one of my go to places if I’m in the mood for rice and curry. Being a person who loves it a bit spiced up, I thoroughly enjoy their pol sambol. The cost would be around Rs.1000 for two if you are opting for chicken rice and curry. You can chose 4 curries to go along with your main. The place is clean and tidy. One should try the sprat curry if it happens to be available.
