The biggest disappointment in Crescat Food Court, as well as in the newly opened food court at Liberty Plaza. The prices are quite expensive when considering the portions they serve. Tried the Chicken Kottu recently, which costed Rs.300 but the portion is nearly a half from the Chicken Kottu that Thai Express outlet serve for the same price. Usually a Kottu means a dish made as a mixture of Godhamba roti and vegetables, egg and/or meat, and spices but here there are no any pieces of egg or meat mixed in it. For the chicken Kottu, they simply served the Godhamba roti and vegetable mixture with a piece of chicken and some gravy on it, which tasted too sweet. The portion is actually does not enough for one person who eats well. Even the set menus and the Pasta they serve have the same scenario. I really do not understand why they have made their food such expensive, because all the other outlets in food court has better food, bigger portions and low costs. The only good thing at this place is their Fried Chicken. They are well fried , has the perfect oiliness and you can ask them to serve them hot, since it tastes better in that way. Other than that, there is nothing here except disappointment.
A closer try to fill the vacancy of KFC, but I think they are not very much success in that. The burger I had is dry but manageable, but when compare to the price tag, I was expecting far better meal. Staff is friendly and informative too. But this might be one of the last places for me to visit when at Crescat food court.
Their food is quite expensive compared to the other shops in the Crescat food court. Fried chicken is good. Not great but it’s ok since this food court doesn’t have a KFC. Burger is not so great and they are very reluctant to give extra ketchup. Hate when people do that. They have set menus and they are more expensive than the other shops. I really don’t know why. They also serve the same kind of biriyani and Chinese. And there are better value for money shops in the court.
The Prices are reasonable for burger meals at 350 LKR average but then you realize the taste is not up to the mark and the burgers are frozen it is slightly disappointing, good and friendly service
