Bombay Borough is a new kid in the town and yep the place come with a very wide array of authentic Indian made foods. They are with this amazing theme which setting you actually on a journey of many different food cultures which are identical to different regions of the Indian subcontinent. Simply you can try all mainstream foods from South India to north India and all in between. They also have the in-house bar, which serves cocktails. I tried some of their signature cocktails, what it called “Jamun bazaar”,”Janta bar” – (whiskey based) and “Jamun bazaar” (Rum based) and that was superb, everything mixed in right balance and served in a handy pocket size bottle which was actually a novel cocktail experience. Then I ordered one of their mutton kebab. The meal came with generous portion size and it was well made and presented. Foods are really in good quality and taste. They own very welcoming and professional service. All the waiters are really friendly and knows of the menu in and out, which is not very common most in the Colombo restaurants and pubs. The ambiance also done elegantly and made up mostly with friendly modern design rather typical Indian inherited doomed design, which of course something impressed me about the place. For me the place is one stop restaurant to full fill both your favorite and explorative crave of Indian cuisines. Bombay Borough is highly recommend place for a memorable dining experience, especially with your loved ones or the significant one. Much love and Five stars.

A place with good food, pretty awesome ambiance and a little heavy of pocket menu.Even though the restaurant is situated right next to the entrance, there is a good possibility that you will not notice it due to the barricades and plantations in front of the mall. Being someone from Mumbai, I got attracted to the name while going through Zomato and thought of giving it a try. Me and my friend were impressed with the ambiance and the overall look of the place. What we ordered: 1. Fauji Party drink- Comes with tiny portion of masala groundnuts. Though the description said that the drink contains of 5 dark spirits, we did not get even a minute buzz. Tasted good, but wasn’t worth the money, Not a bit! 2/5 2. Guntur Powder Chicken- Good portion of fried chicken with the Andhra Guntur Powder. Well cooked, not at all oily and worth a try. 5/53. Mutton Biryani- Ordered as per the captain’s recommendation and was worth it. Good portion of well cooked long basmati rice and mutton. 4.5/54. Amritsari Kulfa- The description on the menu promises a lot of things but boils down to a very basic kulfi with Seviya. Not worth the money. 2.5/5 Overall, a place worth trying. I might go again, just for the love for Mumbai and their effort of trying to replicate the flavours. Food- 3.5/5Ambiance- 5/5Hygiene- 5/5Cleanliness- 5/5Value for Money- 3/5Staff- 4.5/5 (Staff were busy managing multiple tables)
