I avoid tea & coffee points but had to visit this place for a customer meeting during my stay at the hotel. Surprised to see a very wide selection of food & beverages. Visited them multiple times during my stays at Taj as couple of my colleagues and customers are fond of their tea. Liked couple of their sandwiches. Good place for a meeting.

It’s like a crime if you are in Sri Lanka and don’t have the tea which this country has to offer ! Me and my wife visited the lobby lounge for their well known afternoon tea !! We ordered for Heavenly Taj Tea and the Peach Iced Tea. Iced Tea was good but Heavenly Taj tea was something special !! The service was extremely slow though !
I have tired this High tea. It was kind of okay. But they could do better. I noticed that everything they promise on the menu is not included in the platter. There were different items. Tea wasn’t that great. Service is very good.
