Amazingly tasty and cheap vegetarian food. You can’t go wrong with their Thosai, Wadai, Bonda, Iddlis with authentic South Indian tasting Saambaar, coconut chutneys (red and green) and Kolambu. String hoppers (red or white) with Sodhi (white curry) is also to die for. During lunch time their rice & curries with papadams, fried salted chillies is a must have if you are dining in. They leave the curries (in buckets) on your table so that you can serve them yourself as much as you want to your heart’s content. They also have an air conditioned family eating area upstairs.Watch out for the tea though, since they can go to town with the sugar. So make sure you ask for less sugar if you are a diabetic. But then again, that’s how most Lankans have their tea. Overall, real value for money for good taste!
