Okay so first of all here’s my request ! Don’t be deceived by the modest ambience of @spice_coast cz the food here is lit af and super affordable too !!!!! And I can personally vouch for it ! ..So here’s what we had …sweet corn chicken soup : this was a balsamic and dulcified well dressed soup with generously added corn , Celery, boiled egg mixed with bits and pieces of chicken . As soon as I had my first sip I was blown away because it was yummy af ! Trust me it was . It was one of the best soups I’ve had in a modest restaurant for quite some time …Paneer tikka : so this was our choice of appetizer for the day . It was cottage cheese served on a kebab stick with a salad dressing which blended perfectly well with the mint chutney served along with it. Hot butter cuttle fish : Oh boy the crispy from the outside yet soft from the inside hot butter cuttle fish was certainly a winner !We decided to gobble everything down with a bite of chillie cheese naan and garlic naan . My personal favorite out of the two was the chillie cheese naan which filled my appetite by just looking at it because it was sooo appealing ! . ..Well ofcourse we couldn’t finish even half of everything we ordered so this definitely is a great place to crash with your friends and fill your hungry tummies for a super affordable price…@spice_coast is also available on @ubereats plus they do take orders for savans as well . The savan that I have shared is the chicken dum buriyani which comes with chunky pieces of chicken, egg and a very generous portion of rice which includes onion raitha, green peas, Malay pickle and watalappan !!! ..
Great place. Delicious food! One of the best restaurants in Colombo. Try their hot butter cuttle fish and Indian cuisine. Their Indian dishes are as good as any top restaurant’s taste in India.
Great decor! Good food! One of the best place in Srilanka to have sea food. Friendly customer service. My favorite cuttle fish place. Reasonable price also
