Casa Italia concept Casa Italia is a small Italian restaurant and pizzeria with traditional Italian-style exposed brickwork décor offering a warm, lively and welcoming feel with authentic woodfired pizza and homemade pasta amongst other Italian delicacies. The restaurant is owned by a Sri Lankan couple with a passion for good food, good company and great ambience. The couple built Casa Italia (translation: Italian house) in their home itself with the vision of bringing together people in a setting where either families can get together for special meals or couples can enjoy a romantic dinner. The venue is also perfect for a group of friends to unwind over a cosy dinner, or catch up over great food and wine. The herbs and veggies grown in the restaurant garden are used for cooking to ensure freshness of the dishes served at Casa Italia.
~AN ABSOLUTE DELIGHT~We were absolutely delighted with the experience at CASA Italia Sri Lanka. The food taste is overwhelming – food presentation is awesome and the portions were really massive. I have tried almost all the recommended Italian restaurants and Pizza places by Yamu… But CASA Italia was the best Italian we ever tried. We decided to visit them again and try other dishes they offer. My Kids loved the Margarita and Piza Siciliana and spaghetti bolognese. My wife loved the spaghetti al vongole she ordered. I myself took the mutton lasagna the Lady recommended. Guys I really forgot to take pictures of all the dishes we order after trying the 1st bite of my lasagna 🙂 Really recommend to everyone this is a must go Place if you really want to experience authentic Italian cuisine.
