One place that you can get average short eats for a really cheap price. The prices of the snacks various from around Rs.10 to Rs.30. I am a person who loves to eat something spicy while drinking my tea in the evening, and Maldive Fish Bun at Wasana Bakers is one of my best choices in such events. Their fish bun is also really good, since it is well filled and costs only Rs.20.It is no luxury dining place, but you can always take away option. This place is full almost all day, but the service is really quick.
I can’t assure about the cleanliness of the place and the products.But their cakes are really good for the price.I love their chocolate cakes and fruit cakes.Have to say that now their quality as well as tge falvors have reduced in big numbers,most pf the times stale,one touch-fall-apart textures are there!
This bakery outlet opened recently without much fanfare. Located on Stanley Tillekeratne Mawatha, between the Railway Station and the Post Office, and opposite ARPICO, Vasana Bakery is a modern take on the conventional bakery showroom. When I first visited Vasana Bakery, there was quite a long queue. Out of curiosity I went closer to find out. That was when I found the reason it was attracting crowds. Prices of the bakery products were so low, they were more or less half the usual price at other bakeries.
