It is a place opposite to Trillium and most of the people won’t find this restaurant.. been there several times and would recommend the Indian menu specially the north Indian dishes. I would not recommend the Chinese or the southern Indian foods..

Must say, this place seems kinda under rated over here. Having lived in India, I’d only compare Indian restaurants, with real authentic dishes. Been there few times and I’d say they serve extremely good Northie Food here. Plus this place is run by Indians including their chef so no wonder why their food is so good. Their single Biryani portion is quite large, and quite sufficient for two. Given the taste n price it’s completely worth it. Have tried their Chicken Biryani n Mutton Biryani both n they tasted awesomely good. Their veg sabzis n non veg gravies are equally delicious. Tried their tandoori roti with fish gravy prepared with black pepper, it was spicy n well proportioned. In chicken gravies, their butter chicken masala is a perfect gravy, with succulent n generous amount of chicken pieces in it. In veg sabzis , have tried their Kadai Paneer, it was extremely delectable, with generous amount of paneer pieces in it. This is a must try over here. They also serve a breakfast special menu. The interior is fine, more like a renovated old house. But, quite a decent n quiet place for dining with family or friends. Also, this place is kinda hidden. It’s in the interior of Victoria Place a private lane, in Elvitigala Road. Overall if you wanna try delicious authentic north Indian cuisine in Colombo for a cost effective price, this is the place to go for.
Have been here many times. Every time the food takes ages to come. Quality of food is alright, nothing to brag about. They used to have pulao rice options, but now only biriyani is there. Usually a quiet place since it has very less patronage. Has parking for about 6 vehicles. Has a Chinese restaurant next door.
I’m a big fan on North Indian cuisine and I must say I came into this meal with sky high expectations and left woefully disappointed. We ordered the tried and tested butter Naan, butter chicken and dhal makhani and honestly there wasn’t a bright spot in there. The Naan was doughy, the chicken was bland and frankly tasted a bit like liver and the less said about the dhal the better.Delivery was prompt to nawala, which is why they get 1.5 rather than just 1.
