Ok, first the address is wrong. If you want to go there, just Google funfactory.lk in maps and go. It’s inside the funfactory. Boaring dry place, not much people, actually no people at all. Tried the beef burger (RS.550) and a coffee with milk (Rs.130). The burger made from a deeply fried beep Patty which was really dry. But the bread was fresh, so as the potato wedges. But I don’t recommend this place to anyone. And the prices are way different from what you are here in the menu. + They add 10% service charge too.

Had a somewhat nice evening with the family.Starting with the food the sandwiches we ordered was definitely healthy but you might wanna skip the wedges if your not into oily food. This is not your typical cafe. There was only one guy who handles everything from cooking to billing and food is prepared on arrival so there are no food display shelves. The menu is also limited to choices of sandwiches, burgers, pastas, finger snacks, juices, shakes and hot beverages. No sweet eats. However, they do have lamprais. The beverages were nice as well. The cherry ice tea and hot choc was delicious. My only concern is the up keep of the cafe.Nevertheless, one can enjoy the food and drinks ideally with family and have some play time for the kids at the fun factory adjoining the cafe.

The name is rather misleading, as the menu doesn’t exactly cry out ‘healthy’ in comparison to the likes of Milk & Honey or Calorie Counter.Located adjoining the Fun Factory in Nawala, this cozy little restaurant is catered to suit their tiny customers. A lovely place to bring the kids over for some food and an hours playtime next door. The food is good. A few simple options, done well, and your basic juices and smoothies. You can expect Hot Chocolate and the standard tea and coffee, but no speciality brews on offer. The ambience & service: A small box shaped seating area consisting of four long picnic tables with benches and two large couches. It’s a no smoking area since they mostly entertain kids, with a few fans and an air condition as well. I dropped by for lunch and was the only customer there so they only switched on a fan instead of the AC. Considering it was quite a hot day outside, it was rather stifling within the premises. There’s a large open counter at the back which contains the kitchen and cash registry, with only a side entrance leading outside. This means that I had to collect my food and drink individually each time, as the one member of staff, who was waiter, cashier and cook, was on the other side. I was told that there’s usually another person, so perhaps this issue doesn’t arise then. However, he was quite pleasant, if not a bit frazzled since he was also preparing food for a function at Fun Factory for that evening. The F&B: The food was tasty, and excellent value for money though perhaps on the slightly small side. I ordered a Mac & Cheese plus a Passion Fruit Juice, which came to Rs.500. Excellent value considering it’s inclusive of taxes and service charge. The juice was not too sweet with a good balance, and was served in a little plastic cup, a definite indicator of their target audience. The pasta was light and creamy, with a sprinkling of parmesan on top. I personally would have liked more cheese in the dish, but then again, I like my pasta smothered in sauce. I’ve also heard good things about their burgers and lamprais, which about sums up their menu.Overall, excellent fare for the price you pay, though keep in mind that the quantity may not satisfy the average person. They also don’t accept credit cards as yet, so make sure you have cash.
