I’ve been meaning to write about this place for a while, as I’ve visited this place quite often, on the way to pick up my kids from school. The restaurant is run (or probably the food is prepared) by the in house hotel school. Nothing fancy mind you. They serve hot food during lunch hours, in a clean bright environment. Be prepared for the crowd of kids from Sigma. Lunch is basically rice and curry, costing around Rs 150 for Chicken. Again, nothing extraordinary. They do have some ‘short eats’ as we call quick snacks (hors d’oeuvre) in Sri Lanka which are quite nice. It’s mainly the convenience of not having to pay an arm and a leg to have a quick bite to eat, that makes this place popular.
