Kudos to all the staff members at Asylum! I have not encountered such professionalism in a long time. We picked Asylum for our team outing comprised of 30 people. Food was off the charts, if you are looking for a a dish to share definitely tryout their pizza. To my surprise their pizza was way better than most of the pizza joints around Colombo. The best thing I like about them is the fact they would not only run an extra mile but couple of miles to make their customers happy. If you are looking for a place where you can chill and hangout ‘Asylum’ is a must checkout location. Special thanks goes to Shiromi for your fantastic assistance in making everything perfect!!!
I have been visiting the Asylum after the new management took over, for over a year now. I would call it the best place to hang out as the music, the food & the cocktails had a perfect blend creating the perfect ambience for any evening. The staff is very hospitable & the managing partner ensures every client is taken care of to perfection. I have to mention about the food. The Chefs do some brilliant fusion cuisine & ever so often, they have themed menus other than the normal restaurant menu. Hats off to this place and a must visit for those who have not heard of it.
Please DO NOT go to this place if you don’t want to have severe food poisoning for three full days. I shared a three piece plate of chicken sliders with my sister and boyfriend. Worst mistake, my entire trip was ruined. We were all vomiting non stop for three days and unable to eat any other food for a whole week without having severe painful bloating and nausea. This place needs to be shut down.
