After a long anticipated waiting visited the restaurant yesterday with even more expectations after reading few good reviews here. Basically I’m a great fan of K-world and I was carving for those Korean foods while watching dramas and also I went there to treat myself and my sis yesterday with my first month salary.But contrary to my expectation and the rest reviews, I had a TERRIBLE experience yesterday. The whole place was very stingy the whole time but that can be understandable since the cooking happens at all the table. We ordered a chicken BBQ and a spicy chicken soup initially,after sometimes they kept something on the cooking pot and we thought it was the soup but we were told that was the BBQ by the staff we ordered while we asked another staff, he said it’s not the BBQ. We let that go coz we didn’t wanna make a big fuss about that (by the way the taste was so bad) and the spicy soup turned out to be sweetest. The bibimbup we ordered was so bland.Their whole side dishes were bitter.The staff who served us the so called soup BBQ, didn’t even care about the wrong order he made and was so lethargic.Seriously I was planning on having a nice dinner and a dessert or ginseng drink later. But we left the place as soon as we finished(only half) the three orders we made.On our way back we stopped by P&S for a snack and coffee, after which I felt like ate some food.I’m never going that place again.And the price and their tax were too much for the food they serve in terms both quality and quantity.P.S: the prices are slightly increased for the menu available in Zomato

The BEST Korean restaurant in Colombo. They provide a wide variety of side dishes and they’re always so fresh. The kimchi is crunchy n soooo good. Food comes in good portion for the price. If you’re there with your friends, should definitely try grilling your own pork meat or ribs. Would be better with soju;) I always make a point to visit HAn Gook Gwan once a month. That’s how good it is. Highly recommended.
We went there around 2.00 p.m. for lunch and they served what we asked for. At 2.40 they informed they are closing at 2.30 and brought the bill. We had to leave without even finishing the meals.
