The rice and curry is quite good and reasonably priced compared to the taste. But the sweets are quite over priced and not great at all. Once got “Kavum” and had to just throw it all away because to bite into those, you’ll have to boil it for a while. A single milk toffee was priced very high. Quite unreasonable. Overall, good place to have a good local lunch.
One of the best Veg restaurant around Colombo. This is a hidden gem among vegans since not like most veg places, they provide Sri Lankan Veg food. You can have a selection of curries for Lunch and cost is very fare. They got many options like Pittu, Green Gram in morning for breakfast.
Have tried their lunch and juices both satisfactorily good. Worth the price too. If you want to have some good Sri Lankan vegetarian food they will serve you well. Located in a convenient place and has ample seats too. One con though. The day I visited, the tables weren’t cleaned (they had the empty plates and the packets) and weren’t for a considerable amount of time and created a not so pleasing sight.
I have been here more than few times, their lunch is really nice, they have many options to choose from. And yes food is tasty as well (nothing too special). Vegetable soup also nice (they even added chick peas). Fruit juices are also tasty and reasonably priced, same can be applied for their pre prepared desserts..However there short-eat selection is too oily and most of the time place smell little odd. Even though i like the place there is nothing special about it..
