I used to eat here every other day during 2011. I mostly eat Kottu, rice, roti based food. They Lao have short eats and few other food items available here. Taste and quality wise this place is really good. Very reasonable prices. Good value for money.I recently found out that they also have fruit juices that are freshly made so I thought of trying and it was really good and extremely worth for the price you pay, nevertheless the price is also very reasonable. Service is very fast. Nice staff. Typical sri Lankan rice and curry restaurant type seating arrangements .
One of the bigger and better known shops for local fare located in the heart of Borella. Their rice and curry packets are a real hit among those working in the area. Portions are large and generously served. Taste wise, I’ve no complaints. But the best item for me are their Ulundu vadais, especially eaten hot, usually served this way around 6pm. Golden and crisp on the outside, and soft and fluffy on the inside. It’s perfectly prepared and not doughy at all, accompanied with a green chilli sambol, it’s pure perfection!
The best place for us to have lunch during when we were schooling. Would recommend for take a ways like kottu and etc. They have a mixed sea food rice with lot of oil or rather a typical Sri Lankan fried rice. Try it out might love it
