Good indian style vegetarian restaurant in dehiwela junction. Simply good for dine in and take away. Have varieties and are mostly in less price. Specially masala and ghee dhosa are pretty good. A good choice for vegetarian foods.
Being a more a fan of the north Indian cuisine. I prefer not to have south Indian cause most of the places seem to rely or recycling old ingredients and are completely obvious about it.This Bawan is of the few ones that have proper tasting south Indian cuisine and which is fresh. Take it from me who prefers not to visit south Indian places. This is maybe one of three places that I would recommend as a proper tasting south Indian joint. Anyways back to the food. The food is cheap, mostly fresh and well made. The only place in Dehiwala with proper tasting south Indian food. That should serve as an easy enough summary :)If you are in the mood for south Indian and are in the area. Don’t waste ur time, pallet and money at other places. This is the place to go
I was lucky to find this place as it served breakfast at an early time in Colombo. Average tasting food, but the only point which makes me not wanna go back there is the poor hygiene.
