The food we fetch this from our neighbours! In other words, the growers and the breeders in the district. Ducks, chickens, lambs, asparagus, fish and much more.It cannot be fresher, tenderer and more wholesome. And, yes, we still have wild boar on the menu...Details

Arriving last minute (really pushing our luck with only 10 minutes before the kitchen closed) we were kindly seated and offered Äggakaka, and had a very enjoyable last evening of the vacation thanks to Svante and his colleagues on duty.
Very traditional ”Gästis” with really friendly staff, old fashion design and very well cooked and beautifully served meals. We had cod, bore and ribs. All was delicious.
It’s a cozy, traditional place. Food and service have been excellent every time. Prices very reasonable. We tried dinner twice and lunch once. Highly recommended!
Lovely atmosphere and great food. Service a bit slow but we were a large group of people. Not huge variety of food but good quality of food
We had a great dinner with the amazing egg cake! The fish dish is cold but really excellent and very tasty. Also the sparerib which is nothing like we know as spareribs is really soft and braised perfectly! Great food for acceptable price
