About
If you're curious to know what's been served at the Nobel Prize banquets down the years, then you should head for Stadshuskllaren ? a restaurant in the basement of Stockholm town hall, which hosts the annual ceremony. You can choose between any of the Nobel menus since 1901. Stockholm's town hall, with the three golden crowns on its tower, has become a national and international symbol for Stockholm and Sweden. It contains the exquisite banqueting halls, Gyllene Salen (the Golden Hall) and Bl Hallen (the Blue Hall). Restaurang Stadshuskllaren has seating in its own fine dining room as well as the so-called Eldqvarn room. There's also the Sknkrummet room for guests who prefer quieter surroundings. As well as the Nobel menus and the Swedish inspired main menu, the restaurant also serves party menus, a traditional Swedish Christmas buffet and a spectacular seafood buffet in the autumn.
