Cafe Gruebi was the most welcoming of all restaurants in Wengen. Not only were the staff the friendliest, the food and cappuccino were very good.
We were greeted by the owners son who with his friendly, cheerful attention, good English and good coffee made for a really nice experience. We will definitely be visiting again when we return in December
We ordered sausage/frankfurter with bread and a drink, which came to almost 25 CHF, very basic, service was slow and overpriced.
Fondue and a beer or wine in the afternoon after skiing. Good choice. A block off the primary street in town.
