I just sat here one afternoon drinking a smoothie and enjoying the view. The smoothie was delicious and all the food I saw and coffee I smelled seemed the same. I’d highly recommend stopping in for something if you are in Kandersteg!
Excellent Tea room with outside terrace for a real mountain view. Tasty cakes on offer. Also a good spot to pick up ingredients for a picnic in the Alps.
We had breakfast here before a hike. The croissant was very hard and dry, coffee was watery and the flavor was off. They do have a lovely garden with a great view. I recommend it only if you want to skip coffee 🙂 !
We visited here twice, one for just coffee and cake and second for breakfast. Can highly recommend the Swiss breakfast for 14CH francs which included a variety of breads, jams, rolls, croissants, orange juice and coffee.
Staff was friendly and the food was good (just a salad and sandwich for lunch). The back patio is comfortable with nice a nice view up the mountain. Cash only but there’s an ATM at the bank next door.
We enjoyed two lovely mornings having Swiss breakfast. Lovely dining area, beautiful views. There is an outdoor seating area. The Bakery shop is fabulous, food to takeaway and also biscuits/chocolate gift selection.
