Basepoint is located right next to Lauterbrunnen train- and cablecar stations giving you quick access to both sides of the valley and the surrounding ski resorts. The service is slow but friendly. The prices are Swiss _ cheeseburger -okay, chicken burger – tasty, with French fries, beer and a Diet Coke – 48.50 francs. It seems wherever you go – it’s pricey in Switzerland. They don’t accept credit cards.
We ate here after spending the day in Murren and had a great meal and drinks. Seems to be a local hangout and met some interesting people here. Owner (Fabien) is a base jumper / wingsuit flyer and was friendly and a great host.
