The bookshop and cafe LSCV Happy Books is located in the centre of the city of Fribourg, a few minutes walk from the train station. Open from Monday to Saturday, from 9am to 7pm. The space is also used for conferences, workshops, and other activities related to animal protection. It's possible to drink coffee, tea and other fruit juices, to taste various pastries and other dishes during opening hours. A hot meal is also available between 12pm and 2pm. In line with our goals and commitments, all food and beverages are 100% free of animal products. All our dishes are also homemade, fresh, organic, prepared with a maximum of local ingredients, gluten-free and without refined sugar. The bookshop offers books for sale for adults and children, related to areas such as animal rights, health or vegan cuisine. Most of the books can also be borrowed free of charge for a period of 30 days or consulted on site. A small reading and games area is also dedicated to children. See you soon!
