The Poho Dining Lounge is a hotel-restaurant in Weggis on Lake Lucerne. It serves international food and wine, can seat 90 people indoors and another 50 people out on the terrace - and it feels ultra modern. The Poho is a modern lifestyle restaurant. It is trendy, looks cool and has an impressive setting. It is one of a number of contrasting dining areas - the others being a country-style Gaststube (lounge) with an ancestral portrait gallery, a quaint vaulted wine cellar and a majestic looking cocktail bar. Warm colours make the restaurant's urbane setting cosy. The menu at the Poho includes traditional pasta and original types of tapas. Besides the standard menu, there are special events such as a Bottle Party, a New Year's Eve dinner and a hangover brunch - adding variety to the culinary programme.Details

Lounge- type restaurant with several simple Asian dishes. Vegeterian sushi could be skipped, chicken curry and kids menu are average. Surprisingly good Swiss white wine, thou.
Took forever to get an order fulfilled, food looks great but taste only herbs and herbs. Overpowering and pretty much impossible to digest. Do not spend your money on oregano and curry.
I stopped for a drink at this place after a long trail walk from the top of Mt Rigi to Weggis. Sitting at a table just beside the water and having an excellent Aperol Spritz was a most relaxing experience. Service was cheerful.
